Strigoi Vii, Zhep’r is the Quest of Immortality of the Self, which is a process of rebirth by an individual ascending through evolution and transformation from a mortal perspective to that of an Immortal. This process of self-deification involves solving the Mysteries of Strigoi Vii on a personal level, awakening the Dragon (higher self) and achieving Twilight, or balance within the Self.
Zhep’r is the Strigoi Vii variation of the ancient Egyptian word Kheper, which translates roughly as “to come into being, to change, to occur, to exist or to bring about.”
The associated symbol or hieroglyph is a scarab beetle and the source of the word is “Khepera,” a minor Egyptian god. The scarab beetle lays its eggs in carrion, giving the Ancient Egyptians the impression that these insects were born from death. Thus, they came to represent rebirth, and the symbol was adopted. Although not sharing the same phonetic value and pronounced “zef-hur” (the Egyptian word is pronounced “Kheffer”) Our term Zhep’r carries a similar definition and meaning.
There is another spelling of this word, “Xeper,” which is employed by the Temple of Set, a left hand path esoteric order founded in 1975
